Besan Choco Laddoo

Diwali is right around the corner. This Diwali gives a new look to your traditional sweets. Besan Ladoos are an all-time favorite Indian sweet, which is generally prepared in all festivals. This time I made our very own desi besan ke laddo with a twist.

Preparation Time 5 min Cooking Time 30 minutes

Serves 12 Laddoos

Ingredients-

  • 1 cup Besan

  • 1/2 cup Ghee

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 tab sp. Melon Seeds

  • 1 t Sp. cardamom Powder

  • 2 tab Sp. Mix dry nuts finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup. Chocolate chips

How to Make-

For the chocolate filling-

  1. Melt the chocolate on a double boiler or in a microwave, add chopped dry nuts, make small balls.

For Besan laddoos-

  1. In a heavy bottom, kadhai adds melon seeds and ghee and fry them, add besan, mix very well, and roast on low flame. stir continuously.

  2. Add more ghee and roast till besan starts to release ghee and besan turns golden brown.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl, allowing to cool down.

  4. Add cardamom powder and sugar powder and mix very well.

  5. Make small balls or ladoos of the mixture.

  6. Make a well in the center of the ladoo and choco nutball and roll the Ladoos with the palm of your hands.

  7. Drizzle some melted chocolate on the Ladoos.

  8. Garnish with dry nuts or dry coconut.

  9. Serve them in decorative paper liners.

Tips-

  1. Do not add sugar if the mixture is hot, it will melt the sugar and makes the mixture watery.

  2. Do not over roast besan.

Step By Step recipe of Choco Besan Ladddoo:
