Coconut Water Smoothie

After a long festive season, it’s important to back into healthy eating with natural and healthy whole foods, like fruits, vegetables, yogurts etc.
Today I am sharing an Easy Coconut Water Breakfast smoothie to start your day.
It is also a perfect post workout drink that will re hydrate you. Coconut water is full of electrolytes that will help you to bounce back after you’ve exercised. Banana is a good source of potassium and vitamin C boost from the strawberries.
It is a gluten-free, dairy-free antioxidant berry banana smoothie which is not too sweet and not too tart.

Preparation Time 5 minutes
Cooking Time 10 minutes
Fresh coconut water 1 1/2 Cup
Ripe banana 1
Strawberry or mulberry/2 cup
Basil or Sabja seeds 1 tab Sp.
Ground ginger 1/4 t Sp.
basil leaves 4
2-3 ice cubes (optional]
Sugar or honey if needed
How to Make-
Soak basil seeds in water.
Add all ingredients except basil seeds in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add sweetener if needed, blend again.
Serve, add soaked basil seeds and garnish with basil leaves.
You can take any berries like strawberry, mulberry or blueberry.
If you are using fresh berries, stem them and rinse them.
You can also add some green vegetables like spinach or kale leaves.
Mangoes and pineapple also go very well with coconut water.
If you are using fresh fruits or vegetables, always add some ice cubes in it.
If you want rich and creamy texture add some coconut milk in it.
