Crispy Corn



All time favorite,deep fried, delicious and crispy snack, tossed with spices and herbs.

Ingredients-

1 cup Sweet Corn kernels

1 tab Sp. Corn flour

1 tab Sp. Rice Flour

1 Tsp. Black Pepper

1 tab Sp. Lemon Juice

Ingredients for Spice powder-

1 tsp. Chat Masala

1/2 tsp. Red Chili Powder

1 tsp. Dry Mint Powder

1 tsp. Dry Mango powder

1/4 tsp. Turmeric powder

Oil for frying

How to Make-

  1. In a bowl add corn kernels and cook in microwave for 2 minutes.

  2. Combine the sweet corn kernels, cornstarch, rice flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  3. Add lemon juice and mix well, so the flours stick to the kernels.

  4. Heat oil, carefully drop sweet corn kernels and fry on medium heat till crisp and golden.

  5. Lined a plate with kitchen towel and take out corn over it.

  6. Mix spice powder ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle over fried corn. Mix very well.

Tips-

  1. You can cover the pan when frying because the corn kernels pop around,leave a small opening for the steam to escape.

  2. You can garnish some onion and coriander leaves.

Step By Step Recipe Of Crispy Corn-

In a bowl add corn kernels and cook in microwave for 2 minutes.
