Flaxseeds Ragi Mathri

A healthy snack option.

Mathri is a popular north Indian snack.This is a healthy version of popular north Indian Mathri. It is flacky, crispy and full of flavors. Ingredients- Ragi (nachni) flour- 1/2 cup Wheet flour- 1 cup Flax seeds- ½ cup Coriander Powder- 3 tsp. Chilly Powder-1 tsp. Dry Pudina Powder- 3 tsp. Carom seeds or Ajwain-1 tsp. Salt to taste Oil for deep frying How to Make- 1.Dry roast the flaxseeds until they crackle. Let it cool and grind to make a powder. 2.Mix wheat flour, ragi flour, flax seeds powder, salt, red chilly powder, coriander powder, dry pudina powder and 3 tbsp of oil in a bowl and knead into hard dough 3.Make small balls, roll each ball like a small thick puri and make 4-5 holes in each mathri with the knife. 4.Deep fry on a low flame till mathris turn crisp and golden brown. 5. Cool and store in airtight container. you can store these Mathries in air tight container for a month.

Step By Step Recipe of Ragi flex seeds Mathri-
