Fruity Popsicle-


Popsicle is known as ice lolly or ice pop, made by freezing liquid (such as fruit juice) around a stick. Stick can be used as a handle to hold the ice pop. There are so many ice cream brands providing Popsicle in different flavors but they contain corn syrup and artificial colours and flavors, i think there’s nothing like homemade fruit Popsicle. In summer markets are flooded with beautiful ripe fruits, so invite your kids into the kitchen and make these fun simple recipe of ice pop with fresh fruits just few ingredients are needed for this super quick recipe and you can add more nutrients in the kids diet.

Ingredients- 1 cup- Fresh fruit juices [ Mango, Khus, Pomegranate]

  • 2 tbsp Sugar

  • 1/3 cup Water


How to Make- 1. In a small microwave safe bowl, bring water and sugar to boil over high heat for 3-4 minutes. Stir well. 2. Cool down, add fresh fruit juice and mix well. 3. Pour Mixture into mould. 4. Cover it and freeze for 5-6 hours.

Tips. 1. Choose your favorite fruit juice or a combination of juices like grape- lemon, watermelon-mint,Khus-lime, or even simple Nimbu pani. 2. Partially freeze before adding stick. 3. Avoid the mess, pour juice three quarter. 4. If you don't have Popsicle mould, pour into waxed paper cups and partially freeze, add wooden stick and freeze for 5-6 hours. Before serving remove paper cups.
