Ganne [sugar Cane] ka Ras Ki Kheer

Ganne Ke Ras Ki Kheer is a delicious Winter dessert, specialty of Punjab where sugar cane is grown in abundance. Sugarcane juice is full of anti oxidants, iron, magnesium, calcium, and other electrolytes. Sugarcane juice helps strengthen your liver and suggested as a remedy for jaundice. Now days this dish is not very popular but it is a wonderful way to use sugarcane as a dessert.
I am very thankful to Amita Agrawal, who shared her traditional family recipe with us. It came out very well.
