Homemade Spring Roll Sheets or Samosa Patti-

This sheets is so economical and easy to make, can be used to make samosas or any rolls as well. You can freeze them and use when needed, stuff with any filling as you like.

Ingredients- Maida 2cup Salt-1 tsp. Oil-1/3 cup

How to Make- 1. In a bowl, add maida, 2tsp oil and mix well. 2. Now add water slowly and knead into a soft dough. 3. Cover with wet cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes. 4. Now divide the dough into 6 equal portions. 5. Take one portion and make a smooth ball. 6. Roll it into 5 to 6 inch sheet. 7. Continue the same process and make 6 sheets. 8. Now take one sheet, spread one teaspoon of oil all over the sheet, sprinkle some flour. 9. Put another sheet on it, repeat the same process until all sheets are done. 10. Sprinkle some flour and roll these sheets into 10 to 12 inches. 11. Heat tawa, put this rolled sheets on it cook for 30 to 40 seconds and flip it. 12. Gently remove the cooked sheet. 13. Cut the sheets in required size. 14. Homemade samosa Patti is ready to use.

How to store them:

  1. Take the sheets and place parchment paper in between and stack.

  2. Put them in a ziplock bag or cling foil,freeze it. You can store for 2-3 months.

Tips- 1. The sheet should not be overly cooked. 2. While you need to use, just warm them in microwave for few seconds so that they become soft 3. These sheets get dry easily so warm small portions as you need. Soon we will post a few interesting recipes with these sheet.
