Soya Oats Chilla:

Soya oats chilla is a very easy, healthy and flavourful breakfast recipe. Soya and oats are full of protein and the filling of vegetables like mushroom, carrot, capsicum make it a complete meals. You can serve it without any side dish but if you want you can serve it with tomato ketchup or green coriander chutney.

Serves 6 to 8 chillas
Ingredients-
For Chillas:
1 cup Oats Flour
1 cup Soya Flour
1/2 cup Gram flour
1/2 t Sp. carrom seeds
2 Green chilis finely chopped
2 t Sp. Pudina leaves finely chopped
salt to taste
Oil for cooking
For Filling:
1/2 cup Mushroom cut into small pieces
1 cup Mixed Capsicum cut into small pieces
1/2 cup Onion cut into small pieces
1/2 cup Tomato cut into small pieces
1/2 cup cabbage cut into small pieces
1 t Sp. Garlic finely chopped
1 tsp. flax seeds
Salt and black pepper for taste
oil for cooking
For Filling:
In a pan heat oil, add garlic and saute for 1 minute,
Add mushroom and cook 2-3 minutes.
Add mix capsicum and tofu and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add salt, black pepper and flex seed and mix well.
How to Make:
In a bowl mix oats, soya, gram flour salt, carrom seeds, green chillies and chopped pudina leaves.
Add water gradually, mix till it forms a thick batter, keep aside.
Heat a pan, add some oil, pour a big spoon of batter and spread evenly.
Let it cook for one side, turn, add some oil and cook till golden.
Serve with vegetable filling or chutney of your choice.
Tips-
You can any vegetables of your choice l,ike corn, cabbage beans or sprouts.
You can make oats flour with rolling oats. Roast oats in a pan with low flame, cool down and grind into fine powder.
Batter should be pouring like consistency.
You can add paneer instead of tofu.
