Seviyan shots-

Seviyan kheer also known as vermicelli kheer or jave , is must on Raksha bandhan at my house.This year Give this simple vermicelli kheer a interesting twist.

  • For chocolate Sauce-

  • Dark chocolate- 1/2 cup

  • Cream- 1/2 cup

For Seviyan Kheer-

  • Roasted Seviyan or vermacilli- 1/2 cup

  • Milk-1/2 liter

  • mix dry fruit- raisin, almond, chironji etc.- 2 tab sp.

  • Sugar-2 tab sp.

  • cream-1/2 cup

How to Make-

1. Melt chocolate on double boiler, Whisk chocolate well, add the cream and whisk again. 2. roast sevian with little ghee till golden brown. 3. Boil Milk in deep pan, add sevian and cook on low heat till the milk is creamy and reduce to almost half. Stir often so the milk does not burn in the bottom. 4. Add sugar and dry fruits and cook for 5minutes. 5. cool down and keep it in refrigerator. 6. Add cream and mix well. For serving- 1. Put chocolate sauce in 1/4 each shot glass. 2. Fill up each glass with this seviyan kheer. 3. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
