Triangle Stuffed Masala Mathri
Updated: May 11, 2020

Mathri is an Indian style fried cracker that is popular all across North India as a tea time snack. A plain mathri is undoubtedly excellent, but when we add some spices to the mathri it takes it to another level. I have made mathri several times, but this time I use different flours and different spices. Now I use whole wheat flour and gram flour with semolina instead of all-purpose flour because I want healthy recipes for Diwali. I also make a masala stuffing with different ingredients like coconut, peri-peri masala, etc..
This triangle masala mathri is very easy to make and stay fresh for 8 to 10 days. The most interesting thing of this cracker is its shape which is loaded with beautiful aroma and taste of coconut, sesame, ginger and green chili. It tastes similar to Maharashtrian Bhakarwadi.
If you too are fascinated about mathris like me, try these Tikoni stuffed masala Mathris at home, I assure, you will make repeatedly.
