Immunity Booster Drinks:

This is the time to learn, how you can use your body’s natural defense mechanism, ‘immunity’, to prevent the various virus infections. If you rapidly get cold, flu, or an infection, that can be hard to overcome unless your immunity is strong. Try to include some superfoods like Amla, pineapple, ginger, garlic, lemon, berries, turmeric, spinach, carrot, etc. Here I am with you some Immunity boosting juices that can help you fight back against disease, infection and more.

Carrot Orange juice-

Carrots are rich in vitamins, minerals, and fibers. They are also a good source of antioxidants. Vitamin C in oranges and lemons also act as an anti-oxidant, which relieve arthritis pain and inflammation of the joints. Ginger helps boost bone health, strengthen the immune system, and increase appetite. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties. Overall this drink is a perfect immunity-boosting drink.


3 large carrots

1 orange, peeled

1 lemon, peeled

1-inch fresh turmeric root

1-inch fresh ginger root

How to Make-

Run all of the above ingredients through a juicer and drink immediately.

Coconut Green Smoothie:

Young, green coconut is full of nutrients like potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It maintains electrolyte levels. Pineapple suppresses coughs and loosens mucus. Ginger strengthens the immune system, and increase appetite. Mint is helpful in gastrointestinal problems, a very good antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, coconut oil has antiviral and anti-fungal benefits.

Ingredients: (Serves 2)

1 cup of coconut water

3 lemon juice

1/2 cup celery finely chopped

1/2 cup mint finely chopped

2 cups frozen pineapple chopped in small pieces

1 teaspoon minced ginger

1 teaspoon coconut oil

How to Make-

Throw all of the ingredients into your blender and churn on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth and creamy.

Ginger basil[ Adrak Tulsi] Drink-

Makes-1 liter

Ginger is also considered as the healing root since ancient times. It is high in potassium, sodium, iron, also contains Vit. A, C, E, B-complex. It can ease nausea and vomiting. It is a good source of antioxidants, improves the immunity system, helps eliminate congestion. Honey has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties, together with its soothing, anti-inflammatory effect. Basil herb contains a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, copper, and magnesium and an excellent source of iron.

A sore throat can be very bothersome, try this simple ginger basil juice when you’re suffering from the itching throat. You can make a nice drink, mocktail by adding lemon juice and mint leaves.


125 gm. Ginger chopped in big pieces

8-10 leaves Basil leaves

1-inch fresh turmeric root chopped in big pieces

250 gm. jaggery Powder

480 ml. Water

1/2 cup honey

For Serving-

1 lemon

5-6 fresh Mint leaves for serving

How to Make-a

  1. Grind chopped ginger, turmeric and basil leaves in a grinder jar with little water into fine paste.

  2. Boil water with jaggery, add ginger paste and boil for 5 minutes.

  3. Cooldown, pour in a sterilized bottle.

  4. Close lid tightly and store in the fridge for 1-2 months, for longer time you can add potassium metabisulfite.

How to Serve-

  1. In a glass, add a few muddled mints leaves, 2 t Sp. ginger basil syrup,1 t Sp. lemon juice.

  2. Fill with warm water.

  3. In summer add crushed ice and fill with cold water.


You can take 1 tSp. ginger basil juice [without adding water] for the soothing throat.
