Instant Turmeric [ Haldi ]Pickle-


Fresh turmeric root looks like ginger, but inside it yellow.Turmeric is the best medicine in Ayurveda. Turmeric helps digestion, used as an antiseptic for small cuts, wounds, purifies the blood, helps reduce anxiety and stress and a good skin tonic.

Raw turmeric has lot of benefits, we can serve it with any meal.

Ingredients- Raw turmeric - -------------------------250 grams (thinly sliced) Mustard oil - ----------------------------1/2 cup Salt - ---------------------------------------4 tsp or to taste Red chilly powder -------------------- 2 tsp Fenugreek seeds - --------------------1 tsp. Mustard seeds - -----------------------3 tsp Fennel seed-----------------------------1 tsp. Ginger powder - ----------------------1 tsp Asafoetida- ------------------------------1 tsp. Lemon juice of------------------------- 4 lemons

How to Make-

1. Peel and chop haldi root. Add salt and lemon juice. 2. Dry roast all spices and grind in coarse powder and mix well. Add oil and mix well. 3. Store in airtight glass jar and keep it in sunlight. 4. Shake the jar every day. After 6 days store in refrigerator.


Step by Step Recipe of Instant Turmeric Pickle-

Peel and chop haldi root. Add salt and lemon juice mix well.

Dry roast all spices and grind in coarse powder and mix well.

Add oil and mix well. Store in airtight glass jar and keep it sunlight for 6 days and Shake the jar every day, than keep in refrigerator.
