Khatta Meetha Mixture

A Guilt free light snack with tea and easy to do. Ingredients- Thin Poha- 3 Cup Peanut- 1 cup Roasted Chana Dal- 1 cup Salt- To taste Chili Powder- 1/2 tsp Curry leaves- 8 to 10 Green chili- 2 to 5 Dried coconut chopped into small pieces- 1/2 cup Raisins- 1/4 cup Mustard seed- 1 tsp Oil - 2 tab sp. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp. Sugar- 2 or 3 tbsp Citric acid- 2-3 crystals How to Make- 1. Roast in microwave at Medium power for 3min a. Poha, 3 tsp oil and turmeric powder, mixed together. b. Peanuts with 1 tsp oil, salt, red chili powder. c. Pre-roasted channa dal with 1/2 tsp oil and salt. d. Mix all above together 2. Grind citric acid, sugar and salt in a small jar of mixer. Mix with Poha mixture 3. Heat a small pan with 1 tab sp oil, add curry leaves, green chili and coconut. Fry till golden brown, off the gas and add raisins, add with Poha mixture and mix well. 4. Cool them completely and store in airtight container.

Step By Step Recipe of Khatta Meetha Mixture-

Poha,3 tsp oil and turmeric powder, mixed together. Roast in microwave at Medium power for 3min. Mix Peanuts with 1 tsp oil, salt, red chili powder.Roast in microwave at Medium power for 3min. Mix pre-roasted channa dal with 1/2 tsp oil and salt. Roast in microwave at Medium power for 3min.

Grind citric acid, sugar and salt in a small jar of mixer. Mix with Poha mixture. Heat a small pan with 1 tab Sp oil, add curry leaves, green chili and coconut. Fry till golden brown, off the gas and add raisins, add with Poha mixture and mix well.

Cool them completely and store in airtight container.
