Foods to Include In Your Diet during Rains:

Monsoon has finally arrived, The rainy months bring a lot of health problems like cough, cold, indigestion, food poisoning and other infections. Eating the right kind of food increases your body immunity and prevent monsoon-related ailments.

  1. Healthy vegetables- Do not add green vegetables in rains. Adding soups in your meal is a good option to consume lots of vegetables. For interesting soup recipes like tomato basil soup, Broccoli almond Soup, Almond Walnut soup click here.

  2. Turmeric-Drinking a glass of turmeric milk will increase immunity and any save you from cough cold. In case you have a sore throat, gargle with lukewarm turmeric water.

  8. Water- You may not feel too thirsty but drink lots of water.

  9. Neem has anti bacterial properties, Neem Tea may help to boost the immune system. In rainy season our skin and hair demands special attention. For skin care apply multani mitti, rose water, and Neem paste. Massage into the scalp and hair with coconut oil and lemon juice.

Avoid oily or street food and take a light diet like fresh curd, exercise daily and sweat out that extra moisture and pay special attention to your personal hygiene.
