Raw Papaya Salad




A simple Salad with sweet and tangy flavor and perfect for upvas or fasting. .Key ingredients of this salad is groundnut and Basil leaves. Ingredients-

  • 2 cups grated raw papaya

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 Tbsp roasted peanuts

  • 1 Tbsp chopped Basil Leaves

  • 1 Tbsp Sugar

  • 2 chopped red chilies

  • 1 cup thinly sliced Tomato [ optional

  • 1 cup chopped- cucumber

Method-

  1. Grate Raw Papaya.

  2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Toss with a wooden spatula.

  3. Now cover with cling foil and refrigerate for 15 min.

  4. Garnish with Green Chilies.
