"Sangria is a Spanish wine punch,loaded with chopped fruits and sparkling water.I have created a non-alcoholic version. I think this is a great recipe to share at your kid’s birthday party, a baby shower or friends party.
I like to use citrus fruits [ thin slices of oranges, lemons, limes], plus apple and pomegranate for crunch. You could also try fresh fruits, like strawberries, pineapple and grapes also. After soaking fruits for several hours, the flavors of fruits mix into the fruit juices and fruits also absorb the juices into it. These fruits looks so beautiful and taste divine. Cinnamon stick adds exotic tanginess.
1 Orange cut into roundels
1/2 cup Pomegranate Kernel
1 Apple cut into pieces
1 cup Seedless grapes
2 cup Pomegranate juice
1 cup Lime orange juice
Ginger ale or carbonated drink.
For sangria- 1. In a glass jar add fruits and juices. 2. Cover and place in refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours. How to serve- 1. Just before serving in a glass add ice cubes, add Sangria. 2. Pour chilled ginger ale to the sangria mixture. 3. Place Cinnamon sticks for stir. Serve chilled. Tips- 1. You can add any fruit like orange, sweet lime, apple, peach, plum etc. 2. You can put spoon for scooping out fruits to eat. 3. You can combine any juice like cranberry-grape, orange etc. 4. I suggest, keep sangria overnight in the refrigerator, if not possible keep at least few hours for full flavors. 5. You can add soda or any carbonated drink instead of ginger ale.
Step by Step recipe of Sangria-
