Turmeric latte



The super food drink, made by steaming milk with aromatic turmeric and spices. Turmeric latte is a wonderful spicy blend and believe,it is perfectly compliments the coffee.

In place of sugar we are using dates, which are full of vitamins, minerals and fibers.

Turmeric is a spice, which is commonly used to flavor or color the food. it has powerful health-promoting and disease-preventing properties, it is anti-inflammatory herb that’s been used for centuries to treat the variety of ailments. Now days everybody wants to incorporate turmeric into his diet but not sure how? Starbucks also has introduced a brand-new Latte with Turmeric to its menu. This turmeric vanilla late is a nutritious, healthy and perfect start in the morning.

Ingredients-

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Dates 3

  • Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp.

  • Salt A pinch

  • Cinnamon powder to dust

  • Ginger grated 1/2 tsp.

  • Black Pepper a pinch

  • Vanilla extract 1/4 tsp.

How to Make-

  1. Soak the dates in water.discard water.

  2. In a blander add milk, dates, turmeric powder, black pepper and salt.

  3. Blend for 2 minutes until the dates are totally blended.

  4. Pour into a small pot and heat, whisking as it heats.

  5. Heat on a nice temperature.

  6. Remove from heat and pour into mug. If you do not like pieces of ginger and dates sieve in a strainer. Sprinkle some turmeric and cinnamon powder.

  7. For froth take some hot milk in a pan and blend it. Top with frothed milk, sprinkle cinnamon and turmeric on top and enjoy.


Tips-

  1. You can also use Almond milk, coconut milk etc.

  2. Always use only a pinch black pepper because it activates turmeric.

  3. For the froth always use full fat dairy milk.

  4. You can add espresso shot too.


Step By Step Recipe of Turmeric Latte-
